Rabbi Alan G. Ciner has had a distinguished career in the pulpit rabbinate, during which time, as noted by Rabbi Nosson Sherman, general editor, Artscroll Mesorah Publications, "Rabbi Ciner played a critical role in transforming the vision of the Schottenstein Talmud into a reality." Rabbi Ciner has served as an ongoing guest lecturer at The Ohio State University. He is an interactive speaker, addressing diverse groups regarding the challenge of living life in a complex world. Leslie H. Wexner, Chairman of the Wexner Heritage Foundation, has said, "Drawing upon his intellect, Rabbi Ciner is an extraordinary teacher who combines Biblical and Talmudic texts to assist people in creating a new paradigm for living." Rabbi Ciner is currently a member of the speakers’ bureau of YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization). He has served on many regional and national boards, both in the Jewish and general community and has been recognized for his service.

Henry (Hillel) Abramson received his PhD in History from the University of Toronto in 1995. He is the author of several books and scholarly articles on Jewish history and thought, including A Prayer for the Government: Ukrainians and Jews in Revolutionary Times, 1917-1920 (Harvard, 1999) and Reading the Talmud: Developing Independence in Gemara Learning (Feldheim, 2006). He has held appointments at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Harvard, Cornell and Oxford Universities.

Ilana Abramson earned her Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Political Theory from the University of Toronto and a Master in Social Work from Wurzweiler School of Social Work at Yeshiva University, specializing in Community Social Work. She is a FEREP Scholarship Fellow (Federation Executive Recruitment and Education Program), a prestigious award identifying future leaders of Jewish community organizations. She was also awarded a Certificate in Jewish Communal Service, and was a student at Neve Yerushalayim seminary in Israel.

Yitzchak Goluboy received a Master of Science degree in Instructional Technology from Touro College in 2006. Prior to joining the faculty of Touro College South, Prof. Goluboy worked for Touro College (New York) from 2002 until 2006 as a computer technician and adjunct lecturer, specializing in academic network support and online learning systems. A native of Uman, Ukraine, Prof. Goluboy also studied at Yeshiva Chaim Berlin in New York.

Michael Klein earned his BA in Computer Science from Queens College (CUNY), with a minor in Hebrew literature, and is a Microsoft Certified Professional. Mike has transferred from Tech Services to Enrollment Management; he mostly handles registration and transfer credits, but is also available to help students with other issues.

Dr. Koby Frances is Assistant Professor and Chairperson of Psychology at Touro College South in Miami Beach. He received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from The City University of New York, where he specialized in adult and adolescent psychodynamic psychotherapy with a variety of psychological disorders and adjustment issues. He also holds a Masters in Public Administration (MPA) from New York University. He has previously taught at The City College of New York and Yeshiva University as well as at the University of Indianapolis’ Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Frances’ areas of interest include severe psychopathology, the intersection of religious and psychological development as well as issues of emerging adulthood. He has worked in a variety of clinical settings and has experience in providing psycho-educational consultation to Orthodox Jewish institutions.

Stefanie Herron received her Ph.D. in English from the University of Delaware in 2007 with a dissertation entitled "Willa Cather’s Argument with Modernism: Unearthing Faith Amid the Ruins of War." She received her M.A. in English from Virginia Commonwealth University and her B.A. from the University of Mary Washington. Dr. Herron has taught composition and literature at each of these universities and received the Excellence in Teaching award from the University of Delaware. Her teaching experience also includes conducting poetry workshops for middle school students and working with ESL students. She has presented papers in her area of specialty, 20th-century American literature, at a number of national and international conferences. Dr. Herron is a certified Iyengar yoga instructor and, in addition to her duties in the English department, teaches yoga at TCS.

Susan Murray received her BA in Accounting from Adelphi University and her MBA from Nova Southeastern University. Her work experience as an accountant includes several years at the prestigious Wall Street investment firm Salomon Brothers and service as a criminal investigator for the Internal Revenue Service. She was an Assistant Controller for Gold Coast Savings Bank and Controller for the Law Offices of Lerner & Pearce, PA. in Fort Lauderdale. Previously, she was an Adjunct Professor at Nova Southeastern University. Ms. Murray currently maintains a private accounting practice in Deerfield Beach while also serving as an Enrolled Agent for the IRS and an Advanced ProAdvisor for QuickBooks.

Howard Rotterdam has over 35 years of experience working with students with special needs and their caregivers. He has served as a teacher, counselor, administrator, and staff developer. Mr. Rotterdam has presented at several national conferences on a variety of topics, including cooperative learning and working with students with emotional disabilities. He received a BA in History from Queens College and holds an MS in Special Education from Hofstra University.

Lee Williams received his Ph.D. in Romance Studies from the University of Miami in 2005 and was awarded the Barrett Prize for the best dissertation on a Latin American topic defended that calendar year. Dr. Williams has held a Fulbright Fellowship for research in Uruguay (2003) and was recently named a Harry Ransom Center Research Fellow at the University of Texas at Austin in recognition of his research on the work of the Yiddish writer and Nobel laureate Isaac Bashevis Singer. He has presented scholarly papers at several international conferences. His current research areas include Latin American Jewish Studies and Yiddish literature in translation.
Nader Elhefnawy, Ph.D.Nader Elhefnawy received his Ph.d in Literature from the University of Miami in 2006, where he was Visiting Assistant Professor of Literature in 2007-2008. He also holds a B.A. in International Relations, and has published scholarship in both fields.

Esther Eisenstein received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. She completed a full time Internship at Jackson Memorial Hospital, and currently works as a Psychologist in private practice. Dr. Eisenstein performs neuropsychological evaluations of adolescents & adults, and sees patients in psychotherapy.

Hyman Eisenstein received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Health Sciences Chicago Medical School. Dr. Eisenstein completed a Post-Doctoral Internship in Clinical Neuropsychology at West Haven Veterans Affairs/Yale University Medical School. He is currently a Diplomat of the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology. Dr. Eisenstein works as a Psychologist & Neuropsychologist in private practice, performing psychological & neuropsychological evaluations, and seeing patients in psychotherapy.

Professor Jaroslawicz is a trial attorney licensed in New York and Florida who practices in federal and state courts, now primarily in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. He graduated magna cum laude from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law of Yeshiva University and, before moving to Florida, served there as an adjunct professor of law and coach of the school’s award-winning trial and moot court teams.

Ricardo obtained Engineering and MBA degrees from the University of Windsor in Ontario, Canada. After 30 years of a successful upper management career in operations in Canada, the USA and Latin America decided to go back to school and earned a Master’s degree in Accounting and Financial Management from DeVry University. Currently he divides his time as a guest speaker at technical conferences, consulting and teaching.
