Psychology Club
About Psychology Club
The purpose of the Touro College South Psychology Club is to stimulate professional growth through a variety of activities. Activities will include trips to conferences, guest speakers, informational sessions about resumes, graduate school and future job opportunities, and social gatherings. Membership is open to all psychology majors, but you do not have to be a major to attend meetings. There is no cost for membership.
What are the benefits of Psychology Club?
- Attendance may help clarify your career objectives.
- The experience will enhance your graduate school application and job resume.
- Participation will qualify you for induction into the national honor society for Psychology: Psi Chi.
- Networking with other psychology students enhances your educational experience.
How do I join Psychology Club?
Students become members by regularly attending events. Psychology Club is operated by student officers and the faculty advisor. Officers are selected during the first meeting of the academic year.
