The NYC Dept. of Education (DOE) has just issued a revision of policy on the hiring of applicants with Internship Certifications for teaching positions. The DOE now requires teachers hired on the basis of having earned Internship Certifications to have passed the Liberal Arts and Sciences Test (LAST) and either the Content Specialty Test-Multisubject (CST-Multisubject) or the Content Specialty Test-Students with Disabilities (CST-Students with Disabilities)
