Education: Educating Educators
The education component of Children's Health Education Foundation offers information seminars, graduate courses of study, and a core curriculum on childhood obesity and its impact on physical and mental health, learning, and social development of the child to teachers, administrators, school psychologists, and health professionals. The course of study will lead to a Master of Science degree in Bariatric Counseling, the first step in obtaining the projected new health-care state-certified credential—Certified Bariatric Counselor.
