The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a federal law that protects the privacy of student educational records, both financial and academic. For the student's protection, FERPA generally limits release of student information to third parties without the student's explicit written consent.
If you wish for another individual such as your parents or spouse to have access to privileged information, you must complete this form and submit it to your local Bursar's Office. It is only necessary to complete this release one time. If there are any changes to the authorizations provided, please notify us immediately.
